Is Mercedes-Benz really planning for C-Class Coupe

When it comes to the offerings of the Mercedes-Benz coupe, it’s been really a confusing issue for quite some time. There is always a blurring line between C-Class and E-, however, the German automaker has decided now to sort out the things by the end of 2011. Recently, the company has launched E-Class Coupe that has replaced the CLK-Class, and according to a new report a C-Class Coupe would also be seen on the roads quite soon.

Recently, it has been revealed that the E-Class Coupe still has some tincture of the C-Class’ architecture and we could say that it will be a real C-Class Coupe from the German automaker. A report published in Auto Motor und Sport, the company is going to replace its CLC with a new genuine C-Class Coupe by the end of 2011.

The CLC has Euro-specs, and it’s based on a three-door liftback version that has been seen in the C-Class version, but it’s also true that the car has been based on the previous-generation car. So, Mercedes is expected as a mid cycle refresh by the end of 2011 that is going to bring its styling in accordance with the new vehicle.

The C-Class Coupe will be all over the US at the same time when Audi A5 and the BMW 3-Series to be seen in the streets. Just lie Lexus IS convertible that has been launched recently, the C-Class convertible is going to be dubbed as the CLR.
